A sound conditioning program begins with a strong foundation phase that includes both cardiovascular fitness and muscle endurance. Winter and Spring success begins in the fall! Fast Forward offers two options to increase your son/daughter's athletic performance: Athletic Conditioning
Power Conditioning ATHLETIC CONDITIONING Fast Forward's Athletic Conditioning program encompasses strength, flexibility, speed, and agility training for athletes to enhance sports performance, reduce risk of injuries, and improve overall physical conditioning for athletes between the ages of 8 and 18. Over 1,000 athletes have attended our conditioning in our 8 years of training. Training is conducted in a small-group environment. Class size is monitored to ensure adequate attention to each athlete. School Schedule 4:00pm-8:00pm (M,T,W,Th,F) All classes are one (1) hour in length and begin on the hour. Class Costs Monthly - $50 **Ages up to 12: 2 hours / week **Ages 13 & up: 3 hours / week
POWER CONDITIONING Power 1 Every athlete needs a firm foundation in a strength and conditioning program. Power 1 is a high intensity class designed to teach proper lifting and speed techniques. Each session will begin with a dynamic warm-up and form running drills. Then move to a circuit-based resistance workout. This workout will involve ground-based movements, core exercises using dumbbells, 25 lb or 45 lb Olympic bars, and medicine balls. Finally, the session will end with an agility conditioning drill, followed by a cool down. All students will be strictly monitored by certified staff and will not lift more than is age appropriate. Power 2 Upon completion of the Power 1 class, students will have the opportunity to advance to Power 2. This is a high intensity class designed to teach new lifting techniques as well as speed & agility training. The high intensity workouts will consist of dynamic warm-up, ground-based movements, core exercises, speed & agility conditioning drills, and ending with a cool down. Students will have the opportunity to build on the development from the Power 1 class. Also, students will learn how to chart and record their progress throughout the program. All students will be strictly monitored by certified staff and will not lift more than is age appropriate. Power 3 Take your athletic training to the next level with a high intensity, sport-specific program. Power 3 offers 1-on-1 strength & conditioning training. This program will utilize lifts, techniques, and training methods from the Power 1 & 2 classes. Different sports require slightly different training methods & exercises. This is why every athlete will be given a custom-designed workout specific to the demands of his or her sport (i.e. football, baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, etc). All students will be strictly monitored by certified staff and will not lift more than is age appropriate.
